We want Afghan children to gain skills, an education and broader understanding of global issues including child and human rights so that they can make the right decisions for themselves and the future of the country.

We see every Afghan child as a potential for peace and not just as a victim of war. We believe in empowerment – a little push – for Afghan children so that they gain confidence and self esteem and realise their role in reconstruction of the country and breaking the cycle of poverty, war and exploitation.

With this rationale Afghan Youth Fund was created in 2004 aims below:

1. To eradicate poverty and suffering in Afghanistan

2. To increase access and quality of education opportunities available to Afghans

3. To develop, enable and encourage young Afghan leaders to bring positive change in their communities
